Xavier Leplae

Xavier Leplae (a.k.a. Xav Leplae, born 1966 in Belgium) is a Milwaukee based filmmaker, performer, businessman, and artist. His works include I'm Bobby (an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival), The Foreigners (winner of the Best Narrative Feature award at the Wisconsin Film Festival), and contributing work on Chris Smith's The Pool (an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival).

Xavier attended art school at Cooper Union in New York and has performed with numerous musical groups including the band XKS. He plays Polonius in the film Hamlet A.D.D. and also appears in Frankie Latina's exploitation film Modus Operandi and David Robbins' The Ice Cream Social (winner of the Sundance TV Lab competition).

He owns and operates a video rental and film supply store called Riverwest Film & Video.

Leplae is currently in post-production on Rasmalai Dreams, a 3-D film shot in India.
