Xaver (IPA[ˈksa:fə]) is a Basque name, originated from Etxeberri or "New House" widespread in Spain (Javier, Xavier, Xabier) and other Spanish-speaking countries, Portugal and other Roman Catholic areas like Bavaria and Austria.
