[edit] bleh

I wish I knew more about this guy, sounds interesting and this article looks pretty bad as it stands. All I changed was the word "had", because someone had made a typo/spelled it wrong as "hac."

[edit] Bad written English renders sentence meaningless

"X is notable for the lyrics While either in prison, or in jail awaiting trial, X-Raided recorded a large amount of material entirely over the telephone."
This sentence doesn't make sense.

[edit] WP:BLP

Per WP:BLP, controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately. This applies to the article and the talk page. I have edited both accordingly. Mdsummermsw (talk) 15:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

Please spell out notability here and/or make it clear in the article. Per WP:MUSIC there are a dozen clear cut cases, which are not eveident here:
1) Was the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent ... and reliable
2) Had a charted hit on any national music chart
3) Had a record certified gold or higher
4) Has non-trivial coverage in a reliable source of an international concert tour
5) Had two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels
6) (applies only to groups)
7) Is the most prominent representative of a notable style or of the local scene of a city
8) Has won or been nominated for a major music award, such as a Grammy, Juno, Mercury or Grammis award
9) Has won or placed in a major music competition.
10) Has performed music for a work of media that is notable...(But if this is the only claim, it is probably more appropriate to ... redirect)
11) Has been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio network.
12) Has been the subject of a half hour or longer broadcast across a national radio or TV network. Mdsummermsw (talk) 20:03, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

He has some fucking albums charting. Up 2 #54 on HOT R&B/HIP HOP charts. Stop being so ignorant. --Flesh-n-Bone 15:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Your tone is really unnecessary and not at all helpful. Natalie (talk) 15:39, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Stop bothering me. I want to prove he is notable enough. --Flesh-n-Bone 15:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
If you consider this bothering, perhaps you should reconsider how you participate in this project. I'm not saying you can't prove that this person is notable. I'm saying that your tone and word choice are unnecessary and unhelpful, which they are. They don't prove this person's notability in any way, nor do they help you participate in a collaborative project. You are also violating a policy by personally attacking another editor. If you can't cut the attacks and rudeness, then we have a problem. Natalie (talk) 15:52, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
There's nowhere saying curse words are forbidden to be used. "It's fucking good" what'd you find with it? All that "tone" bull should be forgotten. --Flesh-n-Bone 18:31, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
She's probably referring to the "Stop being so ignorant"[1] which certainly came across as rude to me as well. Responding with "Stop bothering me" wasn't likely to ease concerns. Whether or not "tone" should be forgotten is a moot point. Wikipedia demands that we stay civil or get gone. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 19:04, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Pretty much right, Mdsummermsw. Swearing may not be forbidden, but combined with calling someone ignorant and then responding to my statement with "stop bothering me" doesn't paint a nice picture. May I suggest that you check you attitude before you end up blocked. Natalie (talk) 19:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I was just annoyed, so im' sorry. --Flesh-n-Bone 11:32, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
