[edit] Marvel Girl

Uhm... why did you revert my edits to the X-Mansion entry? I made them to make the list of original X-Men consistent: every other person listed was listed by their codename, so why should Marvel Girl be any different? And the New Mutants are all listed in the same section by codename-only. Joeyconnick 06:17, August 14, 2005 (UTC)

There are at least three different Marvel Girls in the Marvel Universe. I think
Marvel Girl (Jean Grey)
lets people see more clearly at once who Marvel Girl is referring to than:

[edit] Funding

Is there any information on the source of Xavier's funding for the Mansion and school? --SparqMan 18:14, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Angel's and Emma's personal fortunes. I believe Xavier's ancestors provided both the structure and a small fortune as well.WikiFew 21:39, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sentient Danger Room

What about when the Danger Room revealed it was alive and took the X-Men's aircraft on a personal tour of the mansion's insides? I'd add that but I don't have the issue number.

And wasn't there something in Damage Control about the X-Mansion trying to fix itself?

[edit] B-Ball Game

The bit about the b-ball game in in X-Men v2 #4 confuses me. This was with an old version of the mansion, not the current one. Currently, as far as I can tell, the greenhouse is on the site where the old b-ball court was. Lots42 16:57, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Xmansion.jpg

Image:Xmansion.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Destruction

it seems that we do not have any type of section that covers the sheer amount of damage and destruction the xavier mansion has suffered over the years.... it is a long standing x-men tradition that the x-men's mansion been damaged and or destroyed. i belive the first instance of the mansion been damaged was by juggernaughts first assault. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr noire (talkcontribs) 22:41, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
