[edit] Blind Myself
Hi, I'm wondering what needs to be done to the Blind Myself article (you have marked it for cleanup). Thanx Vassgergely 21:35, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
- Hello,
- The way it reads now it's more of a list of years and events than an encyclopedic article. Compare with articles of other bands (the ones about Anthrax and Metallica are good examples) and I think you will see what I mean. --x-Flare-x 04:25, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Upset
Yeah, I figured you agreed with me, I was more worried about Atrian's position (well, worried isn't the word, so much as disagreeing). It was odd that he liked "dominant", although he may have just missed it removing the upset line and then put it back in later because he figured that if we liked "upset", we might as well keep "dominant". A trifle odd but nothing to worry about. Lord Bob 06:54, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request
This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I may have found your page based on your contributions or your link repair user box on your user page. If you are not a member, please consider including your name on the project page. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 23:24, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Elitserien logo
*copied from User_talk:Krm500*
Hello, why did you replace the 330x57 pixel version of the Elitserien logo with a 473x126 pixel version? It looks like an enlarged version of the 330x57 pixel image and is thus rather pixelated. The Elitserien infobox displays the logo with a width of 220 pixels anyhow, so I don't see any reason for the replacement at all. --x-Flare-x{Talk) 09:59, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

- I uploaded a completly diffrent image, try to clear your cache and reload the page and it should work just fine. --Krm500 17:05, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for informing me. I am not a sysop myself, but I think in this case it would be appropriate to report this blatant vandal to AIV. Cheers,Orthologist 19:50, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Cheeseshop.jpg
Hello, X-Flare-x. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Cheeseshop.jpg) was found at the following location: User:X-Flare-x. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 20:26, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:04 Elitserien logo.png
Thanks for uploading Image:04 Elitserien logo.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
[edit] Image:MB-Hockey.gif
Hello X-Flare-x, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:MB-Hockey.gif) was found at the following location: User:X-Flare-x/WIP. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 13:27, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Modo hockey 100px.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Modo hockey 100px.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:AIK.jpg
I have tagged Image:AIK.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 05:51, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:MB-Hockey.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:MB-Hockey.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 22:25, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
