[edit] Move content to separate articles

I really feel that most of the information on the second X-Force/X-Statix should be moved to X-Statix, with only a short paragraph in this article and a link. The same should be done for X-Cutioner's Song. Notice that I cut out a lot of the Cable background, as well as other characters: that information should go in the respective character articles, as Cable (comics) already does. -leigh (φθόγγος) 08:43, Dec 21, 2004 (UTC)

Also, will this article lead with "X-Force is/was a series" or "X-Force is/was a team"? The distinction is important, because it colors the rest of the article. Personally, I vote for the latter. That mentality allows us to do the "Introduction / Publication history / Fictional biography" structure that has worked so well in articles like Wolverine (comics) and The Flash. Actually, this latter question should really be discussed on Wikipedia talk: WikiProject Comics, to develop a consistent universal policy, so I'll copy this paragraph there.-leigh (φθόγγος) 08:43, Dec 21, 2004 (UTC)

Moving all X-Statix related stuff to an X-Statix page is fine with me and moving the Cable bits was a fine decision. I am also not overly concerned with either series or team so do as you wish. - User:Rorschach567

[edit] All images by Liefeld

Every single image on this page was drawn by Rob Liefeld. I find this incredibly depressing. -leigh (φθόγγος) 10:03, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pre-X-Factor

Someone with more knowledge of the New Mutants should maybe include something here about the pre-history of the group. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.31.244.93 (talkcontribs) 03:46, 30 August 2006

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:XFORCE 1.jpg

Image:XFORCE 1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
