Wyomingopteryx

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Wyomingopteryx" (meaning "Wyoming wing") is an informal name for a genus of pterosaur. It has never been described, and has only been mentioned in a description of a painting of Morrison Formation animals by Pat Redman, in a 1994 publication by Robert Bakker.[1] Aside from the Morrison Formation setting, which would give it a Late Jurassic age, its Wyoming (U.S.) location, and its restoration as a pterodactyloid, nothing else is known about it.
