The Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a public service offered to persons who have or would like to start a business in Wyoming. The "center" actually consists of multiple offices throughout the state with business counselors who offer free consultation to clients, teach seminars, and partner with other organizations in the state for the benefit of business owners and aspirants.
The Wyoming SBDC network also includes the Wyoming Marketing Research Center (MRC) that offers research for new businesses and those who wish to expand. And, GRO-Biz assists businesses who desire to sell products and/or services to the Government.
The current state director of the Wyoming SBDC is Diane Wolverton; associate state director is Debbie Gorski. The state office is located on the campus of the University of Wyoming.
The centers are funded through a co-operative agreement between the University of Wyoming, the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Wyoming Business Council.
