The station is currently owned by Word Broadcasting Network, Inc. The station is one of the most powerful Christian radio stations in the United States reaching into central Florida and well into Georgia.[1]

The station went on the air as WJGR on 1987-10-26. on 1989-11-07, the station changed its call sign to WJGC, on 1992-05-01 to WCRJ, on 1996-07-01 to WOBS, on 2003-12-18 to the current WYMM,[2]
