Wychbold

Wychbold is a village in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England. It is by junction 5 of the M5, and is on the A38 north-east of Droitwich, near to where they cross the River Salwarpe. Just outside the village on the A38 is Webbs of Wychbold, one of the UK's largest garden centres. Wychbold First and Nursery School is the only school in the village, with approximately 60 pupils. There is a post office/shop and a petrol station. The 144 bus service connects Wychbold to Worcester and Birmingham. Nearby are Upton Warren and Stoke Prior to the north-east, and Rashwood to the south-west.

Wychbold is the the home town of Simon Pearce who was once known to ride horses through the town on route to close by Droitwich Spa, Once in Droitwich it is said that Simon would simply turn around and return to Wychbold as he missed the town so much. It is said that this is where the town's slogan 'Wychbold, you will always come back' originated from.

Droitwich transmitting station is also situated close to Wychbold.
