Wyandotte Nation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Wyandotte Nation is a Native American tribe centred in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. The tribe's 3,500 or so registered members are an Iroquoian people, descendants of the Hurons (or Wendat) who formerly dominated southern Ontario. The band is a member of the Wendat Confederacy, which also includes bands of Huron/Wendats from Quebec, Ontario, Michigan, and Kansas. See Wyandot for tribal Nation history in Ohio.
