WXBB is an FM radio station located in Erie, Pennsylvania. The station is branded as "Bob 94.7" and carries an adult hits format as of January 5, 2007.
[edit] History
The "Bob 94.7" branding replaced WFGO "Froggy 94.7" on January 5, 2007. Froggy 94.7 was one of the Froggy stations that neither carried country music nor used fictitious frog-themed names for its disc jockeys. The WFGO call sign is now assigned to WFGO (AM) in Orono, Maine. Allan Carpenter of the old Froggy morning show remains morning host under Bob 94.7. Captain Dan has moved to the morning show at WJET-AM 1400.
The present-day WXBB call sign was previously assigned to what is now WSAK/WSHK.
