WWVU-FM (a.k.a. The Moose) is a radio station serving Morgantown, West Virginia and greater Monongalia County, WV. It is owned by West Virginia University. Main offices are located at the WVU Mountainlair, on the Downtown Campus. Its transmitter is near University High School, also in Morgantown. In the fall of 2007, they were nominated for Station Of The Year by the College Music Journal.

It first went on the air in 1982. It currently has 24-hour music formats, with specialty shows in sports, news, and various genres of music.

It is also the first radio station in Morgantown to stream online at U92's website.

The station is run all on a volunteer basis, mostly students from the university.

  • Nonverbal Communication- three hours of instrumental music on Mondays

  • Putumayo World Music Hour- a one-hour trip around the world for the latest in world music
  • Reggae- two hours of roots, dub, dancehall, and ska
  • Sportspage- one-hour talk show, talking all things Mountaineers, college, and major league sports- produced by U92 Sports
  • Studio 92- a showcase of all the latest alternative relases and the top 10 albums of the week
