Well.... this isn't exactly an even-handed treatment of the situation. EACH side feels that it's rights are threatened but the article instead seems to imply that there is some overwhelming rightest religious conspiracy attacking the powerless LGTB community.

Can't we write something that is a fair treatment of the issue and then insert opinion after? I attempt to teach my classes to do this.
