Wulfrida

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wulfrida was a queen of Wessex in the ninth century. Little is known about Wulfrida's life. She married Æþelræd of Wessex in 868,[1] and she was the mother of his sons Æþelwold — later King of Northumbria — and Æþelhelm, perhaps an ancestor of Harald II Godwinson, the last Saxon king of England.
