This article is not correct.
Wolfgang means in old German a wolfgänger (see also Doppelgänger). In the time of roman wars, the wolfgänger were a member of Germans special forces, wearing an wolf fur. ( Ger – man = man using a ger, a special kind of a spear)
WOTAN the head god of the „German´s“ has 2 companion animals, two wolves called Geri und Freki or the wolfgänger (wolfgaenger). :-) --Genom-x (talk) 18:43, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
