Wudongde Dam

Wudongde Dam is a large dam project on the Jisha River, a tributary of the Yangtze River in Sichuan and Yunnan Province, in southwest China.
The dam has 7 generators, each with generating capacity of 1,000 MW. The total generating capacity of the project is 7,000 MW.
Construction of the dam will start in 2009 and is going to complete in 2015.[1]
