From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

WTVM/WRBL-TV & WVRK-FM Tower, also known as WTVM TV Mast, is a 533 metres tall guyed mast used for television broadcasting by WTVM/WRBL and FM radio broadcasting by WVRK-FM. Its location near Cusseta, Georgia, USA is 32°19′26.0″N, 84°46′46″W.

WTVM/WRBL-TV & WVRK-FM Tower was at time of completion in 1962 for a short time the tallest structure in the world. However in 1963 WIMZ-FM-Tower at Knoxville, Tennessee, USA took over this task.

Today WTVM/WRBL-TV & WVRK-FM Tower is in spite of its enormous height, comparable to Sears Tower in Chicago, USA even not the tallest structure of Cussetta, Georgia. This is since 2005 Cusseta Richland Towers Tower a 538.2 metres tall guyed mast situated at 32°19′16.4″N, 84°47′28.2″W.
