WTUX (1550 AM) is a Madison, Wisconsin, Radio station known as "The Tux". They broadcast Adult Standards as well as Paul Harvey "News and Comment" and "The Rest of the Story". WTUX is owned by Midwest Family Broadcasting, with sister stations WHLK, WJJO, WJQM, WLMV, WMGN, WTDY AND WWQM. The station previously was a sports station know as "The Team". The former call letters WHIT are now used by another Mid-West Family station in Michigan. Originally owned by Hudson Communication, WMAD 1550 aired a country music format, the station became WWQM 15Q (original concept was "155QM" but shortened to 15Q and aired an automated golden oldies format from 1977 until 1980 when it became WHIT.
