WSPY-FM (107.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format. Licensed to Plano, Illinois, USA, it serves the Chicago area. The station is currently owned by Nelson Enterprises, Inc. and features programing from ABC Radio and the Jones Satellite Network. The station is the home of the hit show, "The Trading Post" where locals can call in their items for sale or items they are looking for (except for wigs, mattresses, and firearms). "The Trading Post" is hosted by the lovely and talented Bob Costigan. Larry and Pam Nelson put WSPY on the air in 1974. Sports director is Jim Teckenbrock, who does a great job covering the local high school sports. The station continues to feature local news and sports, covering the towns of Somonauk, Sandwich, Plano, Earville, Leland, Oswego, Sugar Grove, and Yorkville.
