WS-125

The WS-125 was a super long range bomber, designed by the United States during the cold war. It was designed with the concept of nuclear aircraft in mind. It was going to feature a General Electric nuclear jet engine for propulsion.

WS-125 was based on the 1946 idea of nuclear propulsion of aircraft program. After 15 years and spending more than 1 billion dollars the project was finally canceled on March 28, 1961.
