Wryspy is taking a long wikibreak and will be back on Wikipedia if the bottom falls out from under him and his [creative project] fails. He's extracting himself from Wikipedia altogether because things are progressing really, really well elsewhere in the universe. Right now, his criterion for knowing that he's really made it will be when somebody who doesn't remotely know him in real life finally creates an article about his work and it survives an AfD.

Of course, if anybody ever does create such an article, I may have to pay a visit sometime to correct any mendacities. Wish me luck.

[edit] Red links

Hi Wryspy, I noticed on my watchlist that you removed some red links from List of phonetics topics, and that Angr then reverted your edits] because the red links were to plausible future articles. You might like to review the guideline WP:REDLINK: In general, red links should not be removed if they link to something that could plausibly sustain an article. I hope you won't mind my mentioning it. Best regards, - Neparis (talk) 01:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for the reply. I quite like WP:BRD too. - Neparis (talk) 02:05, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
PS. I have no problem with your replying on my talk page. Please feel free to do that if you find it easier or more convenient. I do, however, always aim to reply promptly to any replies that are left for me on other editor's talk pages, even if others might think it is an inefficient approach! - Neparis (talk) 02:09, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Hey, I own that #D2FFFF color on my talk page notice :-) You just copied it from my talk page! Cup of WP:TEA!? - Neparis (talk) 02:19, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
The first hour is free, but only for you! Re. your notice's wording: perhaps you could consider toning down the "kind of creepy" part? - Neparis (talk) 02:32, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'll rearrange the thought. Wryspy (talk) 02:39, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Ooh, #00FF7F teh lolcatz. Dunno about mentioning "creepy" though. - Neparis (talk) 02:48, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Writing about fiction

Hi there! It's Sesshomaru. Been a while huh? We've spoken before on the specification of "fictional" in articles like Beelzebub and Sailor Moon and I'm having a discussion over here on how it should be presented on lists, if it should be presented at all. Care to comment? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:58, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

I have left a query for you back on Sephiroth BCR's talk page. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:41, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
The section was archived. Here's the link. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 14:45, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rita Farr's body

I just found your statement on the discussion page for the article Doom Patrol, wherein you state that Robotman brought up her expanded body from the bottom of the sea where the explosion of that island left it (I know it's been two years; that's why I came here instead of posting this there). I myself had been willing to swear that something of the sort happened, but was unable to find such a scene in my collection (most of which I no longer possess, sad to say). My memory, however, was that it was a Dayton-financed expedition that found her, and I did find the scene early in Doom Patrol #1 (Kupperberg's 1980s one) where Cliff surfaced from an undersea walk with her wedding ring, stating that he had found her body (within a few pages, Arani/Celsius found the remnants of the Chief's wheelchair washed ashore, which for my money was a good indication that Caulder had indeed been killed out there, though she took it as evidence to the opposite effect). So I ask, in what comic was her expanded body found and raised from the depths? (I like your opening billboard there, and completely agree with the sentiment) Ted Watson (talk) 21:16, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
