WRNY may also refer to:

WRNY was the name of an experimental mechanical television station in New York City, New York. It was operated by WRNY-AM, and broadcast from August 13, 1928 to 1929. The station's frequency was 919 kHz, and the station had 48 vertical lines of resolution at 10 frames per second.[1]

In late 1928, the station moved to 1010 kHz, with 36 frames per second.

The station broadcast a second frequency, branded as W2XAL ("2XAL" as it was first known), which had a separate antenna, and broadcast on 9700 kHz, with 48 lines and 7.5 frames per second.
