Wrightson Mundy was High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1737 and MP for Leicestershire in 1747.[1]

Wrightson married Anne daughter of Robert Burdett[disambiguation needed] and sister of Sir Robert Burdett bart of Foremarke Hall by whom he had one son and four daughters. His heir was Francis Noel Clarke Mundy. One of his daughters married Robert, seventh Earl Ferrers.[2]
