WRIX is a daytime-only Southern Gospel radio station located near Anderson, South Carolina. The station is licensed by the FCC to the nearby community of Homeland Park and broadcasts on 1020 AM with a ERP of 10 kW. (3 kW. during critical hours).

WRIX-AM 1020 signed on the air September 1st, 1986 as the AM sister to WRIX-FM 103.1. WRIX-AM/FM was founded by the late Matt Phillips. WRIX-FM 103.1 signed on the air in 1977 and has its transmitter in Honea Path, SC. WRIX-FM was originally a Top 40 radio station. In 1983, the format was changed to Classic Country music. For many years, it was home to the widely popular Matt and Bev Show. In 1999, the format was changed to Talk Radio.
