WRIX-FM is a News/Talk radio station located in the Upstate region of South Carolina under the name "Talk 103". The station is licensed by the FCC to the town of Honea Path and broadcasts on 103.1 FM with a ERP of 6 kW. Its signal can be heard mainly in the Anderson part of the Greenville-Spartanburg radio market to just south of Greenwood, South Carolina. WRIX-FM carries the football,basketball and baseball games of the University of South Carolina and Coastal Carolina University.

WRIX-FM was founded by the late Matt Phillips (who also started WCCP-AM 1560 in 1969 in Clemson, SC). WRIX-FM signed on the air June 10th, 1977 featuring an automated Top 40 format. In 1983, the station changed to Classic-leaning Country as "X103" and added a daytime-only AM station in 1986 when WRIX signed on. WRIX-FM has many local sporting events, local news, death and crime announcements and was the longtime home of "The Matt and Bev" Morning Show
The present format was adopted by 2000.

Matt Phillips, the station's founder and operator died in August 1997. His wife took over and then she died about ten months later. Their daughter took over management of the station. She sold the station in late 2005 to a local business owner who kept all operations mostly the same at the station.
