[edit] Otley Run

I notice you've edited the Otley Run page in the past. It's now being proposed for deletion. I thought you may like to visit its Articles for Deletion page to leave your thoughts. Regards, Jamse 18:26, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Harrogate Line

Thanks for the advice on the map - I must have been having a blond moment when I put the station where I did. The map has now been updated on Commons so should be correct next time you refresh the page with it on. Thanks again! ➨ REDVERS 10:30, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Police Camera Action!

Thanks for helping out with the article - if you can add more to the episode guide that would be good! --Sunfazer 14:10, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Primark Leeds City Centre.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Primark Leeds City Centre.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:06, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] South Leeds Stadium

Thanks for your expansion of the above article. However, I'm puzzled by the claim that the stadium was opened in 1996 as Hunslet Hawks have been playing there since 1995. I presume that you meant that the John Charles Centre for sport opened in 1996 whilst the stadium predates this.GordyB 15:59, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Travelodge UK logo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Travelodge UK logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -Panser Born- (talk) 11:13, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Travelodge UK logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Travelodge UK logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:04, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:RoadChef logo.PNG

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:RoadChef logo.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use.

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Tandy logo UK.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Tandy logo UK.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 08:54, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
