Wreck of the Day is the debut album by singer-songwriter Anna Nalick, first released in the United States on April 19, 2005 by Columbia Records. It was produced by ex-Blind Melon members Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn at their own Studio Wishbone.

In 2006, an expanded version of the album was released to stores. This expanded version included a rearranged version of the title track, three added demo songs, and new cover art. As of August 2, 2006, the album has sold 623,668 copies.[citation needed]

The album was generally well received by music critics, earning a 3/5 star rating from Rolling Stone.

Wreck of the Day debuted at number twenty on the Billboard 200. After 27 weeks, it fell off the charts with sales earning it a gold certification.[1] The album recharted for two weeks in March 2006 though and then again for three weeks in July and August, bringing it's chart run to 33 weeks. [2]
