Wraygunn are a Portuguese band formed in Coimbra, in early 1999. Their music is a mix of rock, soul, gospel and blues. Paulo Furtado (main guitar and vocals) says that their sound is something like Elvis singing in a space shuttle. Other members of the group are Raquel Ralha (vocal), Sérgio Cardoso (bass guitar), Francisco Correia (sampler), Pedro Pinto (drums), Selma Uamusse (vocal), João Doce (drums). The band has seen a positive acceptance by critics in France, and has toured in Western Europe and in the United Kingdom. In 2008, the band has the possibility to win the category "best portuguese band" in "Globos de Ouro".
