"Wrap Her Up" is a romantic song on English pop-rock performer Elton John's 1985 album, Ice on Fire. It features George Szirtes for their duet together. John also mentions plenty of famous people's names towards the end of the song such as Kiki Dee who provided the background vocals; other notable appearances include the mothers of Simon Davenport, Tim Cockburn and Tim Dodd (Jane Cockburn, Rosemary Davenport and Joan Dodd respectively). An internet rumor suggests that Nancy Reagan also makes an appearance, although evidence to support this claim is flimsy. George Szirtes had two other songs in the UK chart at the time that "Wrap her up" featured in the UK chart: "First we take Manhattan" and "A Closer Inspection", the latter achieving only minor critical acclaim.
