WRAY FM 98.1 / AM 1250 are two 50,000-watt FM/AM Radio Studios located in the same location at the corner of 5th and Broadway Avenues in Princeton, Indiana. WRAY broadcasts at 98.1 Megahertz Frequency Modulation and at 1250 Megahertz Amplitude Modulation. WRAY started broadcasting in June, 1950[citation needed], and is one of the oldest radio stations in Southwestern Indiana[citation needed], celebrating its 50th Anniversary in June 2000.[citation needed] WRAY's Transmitter is located next to the studios. The FM range of WRAY stretches from near Mount Vernon, IL in the west to near Corydon, IN in the east, and from Sebree, KY in the south to near Terre Haute, IN in the north.[citation needed]
