WQZK was an active rock station for almost 30 years until January 9th, 2007 when West Virginia Radio Corporation changed the format to Contemporary Hit Radio and the name to "94-1 QZK". WQZK was originally owned by Starcast Systems, Inc. until December of 2006.
WQZK is now simulcasting on translator W271AT broadcasting on 102.1 FM licensed to and serving Cumberland, Maryland.
