WPNY-LP is the My Network TV affiliate for Utica, New York. It is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group (along with WFXV and Mission Broadcasting's WUTR), and broadcasts on VHF channel 11, with translators on UHF channel 53.
WPNY first signed on the air out of WFXV's studio in Rome NY as WUPN. A few years later then owner sold WUPN to the UPN network out of NYC. It then acquired the call sign WPNY.
