[edit] Image
I think I preferred the old image, I reckon it just worked better in the template as it was an easily recognisable landmark. I think the new one is too small to work out easily at first glance, but I didn't want to just go ahead and revert. What do others think? Driller thriller 16:07, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
- I probably should have mentioned it somewhere on the page, but as a replacement to the City of London image (which didn't really represent London as a whole), it was decided to use the current Portal:London showcase picture as the image of London for that month, updating the image each month. Hence last month was the photo of the Gherkin, but obviously there is a new one this month. DJR (T) 20:08, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

- O God, yeah, I'd seen that in your edit summary when you did it. Just forgot it, my fault. A good idea, by the way. Thanks for the explanation. Driller thriller 20:32, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Missing function call
I think the following line in this template:
{{#ifeq:{{lc:{{{class|}}} }}|na||{{#switch:{{{importance}}}
should instead read:
{{#ifeq:{{lc:{{{class|}}} }}|na||{{#switch:{{lc:{{{importance}}} }}
I noticed this while adding TWP assessments on Talk:Ealing Common tube station and noticing that it was still sorted into Category:Unknown-importance London-related articles. Slambo (Speak) 17:37, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, true indeed. I've fixed it as you suggested, and checked your example page was now correctly sorted. If there are other simple troubles, please note that the template is only semi-protected, any regular editor can change it; myself, I only fixed it this summer because I found it very broken and undocumented, but I'm not its creator or maintainer ;-) — Komusou talk @ 18:03, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
