WPHD is an American FM radio station licensed by the FCC to operate on 96.1 MHz to serve the community of South Waverly, Pennsylvania. The relatively low power limit for this FM station is in order to avoid interference with other FM stations in the area pursuant to FCC section 73.215 rules[1]. Even with the low power, the station manages to broadcast a reasonably strong signal up the Chemung Valley to Elmira, New York.
As of 2007, the station is airing Oldies music under the name of Cool 96.
