[edit] Template design
There are problems with the design of this template because it mixes form and content. Users should not have to wade through wikitext tables to update lists of featured articles and peer reviews. See also my comments at Template talk:WPMILHIST Announcements#Use_of_this_template_at_peer_review_and_design_issues. Geometry guy 10:35, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- I've done this with the peer reviews to show what I mean. Geometry guy 10:46, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

- I've left you a note on your user talk page, but I see what you've noted with the MilHist one. I really didn't want to have to create multiple transclusions (a la the /Shell), but I suppose if it leaves it cleaner, so much the better. In any case, the template is regularly maintained by the coordinators, so the average user shouldn't have to wade in at all. And it's not that opaque.
