General format for the template to be used is as follows:

All variables are optional and only the following can be used to link the talk pages.

However, it is always recommended that complete information be provided.

All variables and their values are cASE SensiTivE

[edit] Classification Variable Values (X)

The X variable is an unnamed variable. You'd need to replace X with letters as given in the table below. The value of this variable is options and can be skipped if one is unsure it needs to be used. However, its value should always be capitalised. Each letter that takes place of the X denotes a sub-project of sub-project of WikiProject Pakistan.

L Literature of Pakistan Should be used for any article that is related to literature of Pakistan.  {{WP Pakistan|L}}
N Newspapers of Pakistan Should be used for any article that is related to newspapers of Pakistan.  {{WP Pakistan|N}}
ML Military of Pakistan Should be used for any article that is related to Pakistani military.  {{WP Pakistan|ML}}
P Politics of Pakistan Should be used for any article that is related to politics of Pakistan.  {{WP Pakistan|P}}

This variable categorizes the article according to given quality scale. Following are the values for the variable.

class FA Featured article Should be used for any article that has near to perfect content.  {{WP Pakistan|class=FA}}
A A-Class Should be used for any article that is extremely well written.  {{WP Pakistan|class=A}}
GA Good article Should be used for any article that is good but requires attention.  {{WP Pakistan|class=GA}}
B B-Class B-Classes articles come with a criteria list.  {{WP Pakistan|class=B}}
Start Start-Class Should be used for any article that requires attention and more work.  {{WP Pakistan|class=Start}}
Stub Stub Should be used for any article that are too short.  {{WP Pakistan|class=Stub}}
Cat Category list Should be used for a category list of other articles.  {{WP Pakistan|class=Cat}}
Dab Disambiguation Should be used for disambiguation pages.  {{WP Pakistan|class=Dab}}
List List article Should be used for any article that represents a list of things.  {{WP Pakistan|class=List}}
Template Template Should be used for templates only.  {{WP Pakistan|class=Template}}
Unassessed If no class is provided  {{WP Pakistan|class=}}

If you have tagged an article as a B-Class article with class=B variable/value pair, then the following criteria needs to be addressed with their given variables.

This variable determines the importance of the article according to given importance scale. A value for this can be any of the given values below.

importance Top Top-level importance Used when an article is of top-most priority.  {{WP Pakistan|X|class=|importance=Top}}
High High-level importance Used when an article is highly important.  {{WP Pakistan|X|class=|importance=High}}
Mid Mid-level importance Used when an article is of little importance.  {{WP Pakistan|X|class=|importance=Mid}}
Low Low-level importance Used when an article is not that important.  {{WP Pakistan|X|class=|importance=Low}}

Only possible value for this variable is yes. If an article requires special attention from the participants of WikiProject Pakistan, then the declaration of the attention=yes clause would notify the users at the project page. Example code is given below:

Attention is guaranteed if the importance variable is set to High or Top as well.
