WOYK (1350 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a sports talk format. Licensed to York, Pennsylvania, USA, it serves the York, Pennsylvania and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area.
WOYK began broadcasting Baltimore Orioles games in the 2007 season for the first time since 1986.[1]
As of May of 2008, WOYK had switched its affiliation from ESPN Radio to Sporting News Radio. ESPN radio pulled the affiliation for a lesser singal in the market because the major corp. that owns the station put ESPN on 7 fm's across the country to gain york, pa.[2]
