Worth Dying For is a Christian Worship band from Modesto, California. [1] They are the principal worship band at the Modesto, Ca youth ministry The Stadium. Their self-titled debut album was released on April 15, 2008 by Integrity Music.[2] Don Moen, President of Integrity Music who signed Worth Dying For, told web based magazine Christian Music Daily, β€œIn a day when most new bands are anything but original, Worth Dying For is an exception, This band is writing great new songs, and their sound is fresh and original. Birthed out of a church with a desire to reach their generation for Christ, Worth Dying For is focused on the right stuff. It's refreshing and contagious.” [3]

[edit] Call to Arms

Originally, Worth Dying For was going to format itself similarly to Hillsong United, having a variety of musicians that would fill needs for services and travelling as they were needed. It became apparent as time passed that WDF worked better with its core five, and the format was changed, with four of the younger members of the band spun off to form Call to Arms.[4] Currently, Call to Arms leads worship services at The Stadium (Jr. High/High School), The Stadium Unplugged (College), and other events when Worth Dying For is touring playing mostly WDF's music, although they have written original music themselves. The band is led by pianist Dalisha Turner and guitarist Rochelle LeGuern with bassit Alex Contreras and Drummer Brandon Spangler. Call to Arms plans to release a demo to sell at their events soon.
