Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers is one of the Livery Companies of the City of London. The Glass Sellers received a Royal Charter of incorporation in 1664. As glass making became a trade performed by machines instead of craftsmen, the Company has evolved from a trade association for glass makers and vendors into a charitable body.

The Glass Sellers' Company ranks seventy-first in the order of precedence for Livery Companies. Its motto is Discordia Frangimur, Latin for Discord Weakens.
