Worship Yourself was Kinesis' first release to the public. It started life as a five track demo recorded and mixed over three days at Studio Studio, near Rochdale. After sending the short version to as many addresses as the band could find they returned to Studio Studio and recorded three more tracks.
The longer eight-track version was released to the public receiving very little interest, although the music industry took to it a little better. Kerrang rated it well, and songs from it were played on Radio 1 during Steve Lamacq's Evening Session.
Due to the age of the band members (17) touring was very difficult and left to weekends and school holidays. This resulted in very limited promotions of this EP.
