Worldcom Public Relations Group is an consortium of individual public relations and communications firms. Established in 1988, the network consists of more than 100 partner offices in 39 countries and six continents. [1] It allows independent firms access to national, international and multi-national clients they would not otherwise have.
Since each agency remains small and locally based, they are able to address their specific markets. Partners assist other partners with information and expertise as needed.
Worldcom conducts continuing education for its members, produces a monthly newsletter and holds bi-annual conferences. It is governed by an elected board of directors and three regional boards with support from a chief operating officer. The network has divisions in North America and Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
