World records in swimming

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Below is a list of current world swimming records as ratified by the international governing body FINA. Of the 82 events, the United States currently holds 27 records, Australia 25, the Netherlands 5, France 5, Zimbabwe 4, 2 each to Croatia, Japan, Sweden and Ukraine, and 1 each to Austria, Brazil, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Russia, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
