World Technology Network

The World Technology Network (WTN) is a global virtual think tank whose members are focused on the business or science of bringing important emerging technologies into reality.

Membership is made up of over 700 scientists, entrepreneurs, financiers, journalists, academics, policymakers and people of similar standing from 50 different countries. Apart from the small number of founding members they are made up of World Technology Award Nominators (members for one year and then re-evaluated) and World Technology Award Finalists/Winners who automatically become WTN fellows - members for life.

They host the World Technology Summit.

Along with The X Prize Foundation the WTN announced the WTN X Prize in October 2004.
