World Fantasy Convention

The World Fantasy Convention is an annual convention of professionals, collectors, and others interested in the field of fantasy. It places emphasis on literature and art, while deemphasizing dramatic presentation, gaming, masquerade, and the like. The World Fantasy Award is presented at the event. Other features include an art show, a dealer's room, and an autograph reception.
The 2007 World Fantasy Convention was held November 1-4 in Saratoga, NY.

The 1988 WFC, held in London, United Kingdom, was chaired by Jo Fletcher and Stephen Jones. Judges were Mike Ashley, Scott Baker, Robert S. Hadji, Maxim Jakubowski, and Donald A. Wollheim.
