The World Association of Wrestling (WAW) is an independent British wrestling association based out of Norwich, East Anglia, with shows running at the marina centre at least once a month and shows at several other venues throughout East Anglia in towns and cities such as Norwich, Lowestoft, Hunstanton, Fakenham and Wymondham, as well as numerous shows presented at holiday camps throughout the east of England. These showcase some of the best talent on offer in the east and other regions of England, including Ricky Knight, Sweet Saraya, Zebra Kid, Zak Zodiac, Steve Quitain, Sam Slam, UKP and Kraft.

WAW is run and owned by Ricky Knight & Sweet Saraya who have been in charge since the creation of WAW in 1994. WAW also has close ties with Herts & Essex Wrestling, which runs out of Essex, Summit Wrestling and DAM, which both run out of Norwich, and RDW, which runs mainly out of Skegness.

WAW is also known for promoting FightMare 1, which with a crowd over 2,000 is easily one of the biggest non-WWE/WCW event to have taken place on English soil.

WAW also runs WAW Academy, a training school for young aspiring wrestlers who wish to make their way into the wrestling business. The head trainers are Ricky Knight, Sweet Saraya and Jason Cross, as well as such WAW talent as Kraft, Sam Slam, Zak Zodiac and Zebra Kid lending a hand in training on a regular basis.
