World's Strongest Woman
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
World's Strongest Woman was an annual strongwoman contest organized by the International Federation of Strength Athletes (IFSA). The format was similar to the World's Strongest Man contest, but with lighter weights. The contest was first held in 2001; Jill Mills was the first winner.
Robin Coleman, new 2008 American Gladiator Hellga, placed 3rd in 2001. Finnish Heine Koivuniemi took 2nd.
The 2004 contest was cancelled after the withdrawal of sponsors TWI and BBC. The IFSA replaced it with the Strongwoman World Championships.
