World's End, Kings Road

The World's End is a district of Chelsea, London, lying at the end of the Kings Road. It took its name from a public house. It was an unfashionable part of Chelsea until the boutique Granny Takes a Trip became the centre of the counter-culture world of the 1960's. It was also home to the boutique SEX started by Vivienne Westwood in the 1970's.
