In his spare time, Dave is a fresher at the University of Central Lancashire, studying for a BA (Hons) degree in Communication Studies and Popular Culture.

[edit] Biography
[edit] The Past
A former resident of the rundown urban areas of the Dudley borough, Worley attended Hawbush Primary School between the ages of 3 and 11 (1992-2000). Following this, he attended what was to become the Wordsley School, rising to position of Head Boy in his final year (2005). From here, he moved to the prestigious King Edward VI College, in Stourbridge. At GCSE and A-Level he achieved only moderately successful results; an overall comedown from the high targets set for him throughout his academic career.
[edit] Important Details
The single most important fact about Worley is the tragic loss of his girlfriend Antonia in a road accident on the 22nd February 2007. Apart from having a profound effect on his attitude towards life and society, it also unleashed a new air of hysteria-laced determination around him, punctuated by occasional outbursts of anger or distress.
[edit] Post-Tragedy...
Worley has found it hard to cope at times but is now on the road to learning to live with the past. Despite his loss, he still attends UCLan, which he had chosen to be closer to Antonia, and now holds aspirations of becoming a writer concerning matters in the media studies spectrum.
[edit] Interests
- Bass Guitar
- Messing around on Computer Games (most notably of which includes Transport Tycoon Deluxe)
- Writing
- Light amounts of trainspotting (I do not, like most trainspotters, take part in standing on cold platforms with a notebook and camera (I usually just take the camera :D). Instead, I can recognise UK train classes and destinations. This leads from an obsession with timetables and organised systems of chronology and classification. Sad, but it makes me happy.)
I enjoy sport, specifically football, baseball and Formula 1. Football wise, I'm a keen follower of English Championship team West Bromwich Albion and a fan of 2006 Baseball World Series Champions St Louis Cardinals.
[edit] Wikipedia
Since I'm quite knowledgable on the whole train thing, a lot of my edits are about the UK rail network. My most glittering piece so far is that of the South Staffordshire Line, its company, and all railway stations associated with it.
Continuing on that theme, I'm hoping to build up a compendium of railway station and line articles from around my area.
Other than that, I'm one of these people who loves to browse Wikipedia just because of the wealth of information it gives. As such, a lot of my contributions are minors that are basically just spelling and grammar corrections. The latter is somewhat a fortĂȘ of mine.
