Is this a list or a disambiguation page (looks like a hybrid). I suggest there needs to be a disambiguation page (which this nearly is if a bit of the crud is removed). It is a disambiguation page, and the brief explanations of each party's political doctrine (or, in the case of defunct parties, the explanations of each party's dissolution) is not out of step with related disambiguation pages (see: Labour Party, Socialist Party, Democratic Socialist Party, Democratic Party, etc) --(Ptah, the El Daoud 18:24, 25 June 2007 (UTC))
